Quick answer
Make a false eye by painting the football-table ball with the magician’s inked brush. Use the briefcase chisel to remove the stage owl’s real eye and immediately insert the false one. Put the real eye in the game-room painting, copy its revealed symbols onto the chest below, and take the light bulb.

Paint the football-table ball
Use the inked paintbrush on the ball in your inventory; this turns it into an eye-shaped substitute.
You’ll know it worked: Your inventory shows the false eye.

Swap the stage owl’s eye
At the owl statue in the clown’s stage room, use the chisel to remove its mystical eye. The statue shakes; put the false eye in the empty socket.
You’ll know it worked: You keep the real mystical eye and the statue settles.

Place the real eye in the painting
In the table-football room, insert the real eye into the slot in the wall painting. Inspect the symbols that appear on the painting.

Set the chest below the painting to the four symbols shown in the answer image, from left to right, then open it.
