Solve the Garden Music Sheet and Get the Shed Key
Quick answer
With the pencil, fill these music-sheet notes black: top row 1 and 3; middle row 2 and 4; bottom row 2. Give the masked musician the ocarina and tap him to play. A creature brings the shed key.

- Have the pencil from the frog monument, the ocarina from the bench cabinet, cheese from the fountain, and the gate key from the frog-area chest.
Follow the clues

Reveal the mouse pattern
Put the cheese in front of the hollow tree trunk. Wait for the mice to appear in its holes and record their positions; this pattern is the clue for the sheet music.
You’ll know it worked: The mice are visible in the trunk holes and you can compare their positions with the sheet.

Reach the masked musician
Use the gate key from the red chest to open the gate to the next garden area. Give the ocarina to the masked musician, then inspect the sheet/notebook beside him.
You’ll know it worked: The musician accepts the instrument and the sheet can be marked.

Copy the mice onto the sheet
Select the pencil. Count notes from the left within each row: blacken the first and third notes in the top row, the second and fourth in the middle row, and the second in the bottom row. Leave the other notes unfilled. The completed sheet above is the target pattern from the mice in the hollow trunk.
You’ll know it worked: The sheet now reproduces the mouse pattern.

Play the completed sheet
Tap the masked musician after marking the notes. When the pattern is correct, he plays it and the strange animal appears carrying the shed key. Take the key.
You’ll know it worked: The shed key appears and can be used on the shed door.
If you’re still stuck
The musician does not react to the sheet.
First give him the ocarina. Then compare each marked sheet position with the actual mouse positions in the trunk; every grey-mouse position is marked black.
Where is the mouse clue?
Put the cheese in front of the hollow tree trunk with holes. The mice emerge from those holes and their positions are the clue.
I have no gate key.
Open the red chest in the frog area using the symbols from the repaired fountain. The chest contains the key for the gate to the musician area.
