Garden Frog Puzzle Layout, Valve and Pencil
Quick answer
Set the frogs in three rows, left to right: empty / green / red / blue; blue / red / empty / green; empty / green / blue / red. The completed monument gives you the fountain valve and the musician’s pencil.

- Unlock the Garden photograph in the Unknown Place and choose Garden from the memory menu.
Follow the clues

Find the frog clue
In the Garden memory, go left to the mushroom area. Take the note tucked behind the mushrooms, then inspect the frogs and their stone positions.
You’ll know it worked: You have the note that specifies which stones are empty and which colored frog belongs in each position.

Rearrange the frogs to match the note
Move frogs between stones until the final layout matches the picture above. Top row: empty, green, red, blue. Middle row: blue, red, empty, green. Bottom row: empty, green, blue, red. The empty stones are part of the answer, so check them as carefully as the colored frogs.
You’ll know it worked: The frog monument opens and reveals two items.

Collect the two rewards
Take both objects from the opened monument: the valve and the pencil. Keep them; the valve repairs the fountain pipe, and the pencil is used on the musician’s sheet music.
You’ll know it worked: The valve and pencil are available in your inventory for the next Garden puzzles.
If you’re still stuck
I moved the frogs but the monument did not open.
Compare every stone with the note, including the empty stones. The clue describes a final layout, not a sequence of moves.
I can’t find the clue.
Look behind the mushrooms in the Garden’s frog area; the note is separate from the frog board.
