Phone Number, Direction Panel and Screwdriver
Quick answer
Call 4692209. Set the direction panel’s rows to north 2 steps, southwest 4 steps and east 1 step. Keep that many footprint cells at the start of each row and cross out the unused cells. Take the glue, join the screwdriver handle and bit, then glue the broken tool together.

- Keep the screwdriver bit from the finger box and collect the handle behind the curtain.
Follow the clues

Call the number revealed by the rocket
Pick up the hallway telephone’s handset and dial 4692209. Listen to the three instructions in order: north two steps, southwest four, east one. You can repeat the call if you need to hear them again.
You’ll know it worked: You have a direction and a step count for each row.

Set the three arrows
Open the picture panel on the hallway wall. Its left column sets direction. From top to bottom, choose up/north, down-left/southwest, and right/east. Do not turn all rows toward the same compass point.
You’ll know it worked: The three arrows match the phone instructions.

Leave only the required footsteps
Each row has four cells after its arrow. Top row: leave the first two footsteps and mark X in the last two cells. Middle row: leave all four footsteps. Bottom row: leave the first footstep and cross out the last three cells.
You’ll know it worked: A compartment opens below the panel, exposing the glue.

Glue the assembled screwdriver
Take the handle from behind the curtain if needed and combine it with the finger-box bit. The assembled tool is still broken. Apply the glue from the panel to make it usable.
You’ll know it worked: The screwdriver becomes a complete tool.

Remove the metal cover
Use the repaired screwdriver on the hallway’s wall cover. Collect the statue arm and the lost-soul doll from the compartment. Fit the arm to the statue to continue toward the Mansion eye puzzle.
You’ll know it worked: The next statue task is available and the concealed doll can be collected.
If you’re still stuck
I have the right arrows, but the panel stays closed.
Check the footprint counts as well. The rows must show 2, 4 and 1 usable steps; the X marks remove the unused cells.
Does “southwest” mean the down arrow?
Use the diagonal down-left arrow. Straight down is south and does not match the phone instruction.
The screwdriver parts are joined. Why can I not remove the cover?
The two parts still require glue. The glue is the reward beneath the completed walking panel.
Where does the statue arm go?
Take it to the multi-armed statue in the quartz room. Its hand positions are a separate clue from the ghost-room wall; the Mansion eyes guide continues that sequence.
